Lilly Belle (formerly Chelsea) was adopted from the shelter in November 2010, at between 3 or 4 years old.  Her owner is not quite sure what kind of dog she is–she definitely has some beagle in there!  She came already housebroken and spayed so she must have been someone’s pet before landing at the shelter.

Today Lilly spends her days wrestling with her brother Spikey, playing with her Nylabones, and sunbathing in the back yard when she’s not inside snoozing on her dog bed.  Life is good!

Spikey was rescued from the shelter by Virginia Paws For Pits in November 2012 when he was about 1 year old and then adopted by his foster mother.  Spikey sat at the shelter for far too long while his brothers and sister were adopted or rescued.

At the shelter, Spikey was listed as an American Staffordshire Terrier, but, since then, they found out that he also has cattledog in him.  Spikey is a strong, energetic guy who frequently gets bursts of “puppy zoomies”.  He loves playing with his sister Lilly, and they wrestle like crazy.  Spikey is so happy to be out of the shelter and into his own home, getting lots of exercise and fresh air.  One of his favorite things to do it to sit out on the back porch for hours and just watch the neighborhood.

Spikey and Lilly are happy together in their forever home.
